Meinl Byzance Fast Hi-Hats

Thomas Lang signature model hats have 8 holes around the outside edge of the cymbal to give a faster foot response and feel. Seriously, it works - these are the fastest hats I've ever played. Top cymbal is a brilliant finished model, in and out. Bottom cymbal is from the Dark series. The combination give a slightly less washy splash sound, with some dirty grungy character. The sticking is bright due to the top cymbal's lathing. These play great, and are my favorite Meinl hats for non-jazz.
