Byzance Dark cymbals are unlathed with a dry, earthy character, and unique dark, "dirty" sound.

The spectrum ride is Rodney Holmes signature ride in a medium-ish weight. The entire surface is spiral lathed, which tends to open up the tone of the cymbal a bit more than the normal dark rides.
