Meinl Byzance Traditional Hi-Hats
Available sizes: 10, 12, 13, 14, 15

Byzance Traditional cymbals have a completely lathed surface, resulting in an open, airy, breathy, warm sound that depending on the thickness gives you a warmer tone, or a brighter one, compared to other lathing styles.

 

Mini hats 10, 12:

 Small, tight, chippy, and fast. Great as an aux hat, D-n-B, or a part of a smaller setup. Sound is drier, and more compact, with reduced "body"

Thin 14:

 Lighter weight with lower pitch, increased sensitivity, warmer chick, and darker stick sound. Soft, lower volume and smooth.

Medium 13, 14, 15:

 Medium weight hat with nice versatility. Warm stick and chick, with nice presence.

Heavy 14:

 Louder, heavier, more powerful hat with a higher pitch for more cutting power.
